Our Services
(Online & in-person)
From therapeutic services to couples and families, and helping therapists to work more effectively with their clients, to supervising and consulting to those in the helping and legal profession, we offer services that help to improve people's personal and professional lives.
Therapy and counselling
If you experience relationship difficulties in your couple or as a parent, feel free to contact us for an initial consultation. We specialise in attachment processes, trauma work, and cultural issues in relationships.
We are here to help you address the difficulties you are currently experiencing. Whether you have never contacted a therapist before and do not know where to start, or you know exactly what you require, get in touch. We are happy to help.
Just get in touch if you want. There is no obligation.
Training and learning
We offer training events, workshops, and short courses for counsellors and therapists to work more effectively with their clients and keep up-to-date with their CPD.
We specialise in attachment processes, trauma work, and cultural issues in relationships.
We are currently developing a programme to offer to trainers of students in counselling and psychotherapy programmes (this programme would include current developments in education such as 'decolonising the curriculum', and following the EDI (Equality, Diversity, Inclusion)-agenda.
Consultation and Supervision
Whether you are a student looking for external or additional supervision or a professional seeking consultation or a more formal supervision arrangement, as registered supervisors and trainers we can help.
Get in touch for an initial conversation.
We also offer supervision and reflective practice consults to family lawyers in Liverpool and Manchester. (incl. online sessions). For more info, visit: https://www.familylawsupervisors.co.uk/supervisors/north-west/ramon-karamat-ali/
Personal Learning Therapy (PLT) ('Leertherapie' in NL)
We use this term for those counselling and psychotherapy students and trainees that are required to go into therapy themselves as part of their clinical training programmes. It can be hard to find a suitable therapist to support you with this. We are open to enquiries to help you make the right decision for you.
PLT for global majority students
Those trainees from the global majority in particular can find it a challenge to find those therapists who they can relate to, trust and feel understood by. We welcome any enquiry from students looking for a suitable therapist to support them in their learning journey.
*Student rates available.
Systemic-Attachment Therapy/
Attachment Narrative Therapy (ANT)
We offer therapeutic services, supervision and consultation from a systemic-attachment perspective. This way of working puts emotional safety, empathy, relational comfort and enjoyment at the heart of the approach. We put emotional regulation, trauma, and resilience in an ANT framework, which centres around the importance of safe attachment processes, healthy communication patterns, and empathic narratives.
The most recent publication about ANT and its applications can be found here:
Dallos, R. (2023) (ed.), Attachment Narrative Therapy: Applications and Developments. Cham: Springer International Publishing.

Writing guidance and Support for therapists conducting research
In addition to online workshops, we offer supervision and consultation to therapists who would like to have support with writing for publication, as well as guidance to those counsellors and therapists who are interested in research and evaluation of therapeutic practice but require support and supervision to do so.
